Every MatiLevrieri collar is born from meticulous artisanal work, designed to guarantee comfort, safety and beauty for your sighthound.
The process begins with the selection of hides: we choose only top-quality materials, soft and durable, that naturally adapt to the sighthound’s neck over time.
The shape is studied on the sighthound’s anatomy: a roughly cylindrical strap, wider than a standard collar, distributes pressure over a larger surface of the neck. This reduces the sensation of choking and increases safety, preventing the risk of slipping off.
Each piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand in small batches. We check seams, thicknesses and hardware one by one, because every collar must first of all be safe and comfortable.
The inner paddings are chosen to avoid chafing and redness on the delicate neck skin. Colours and designs come from continuous research between functionality and aesthetics.
